Just as the pandemic was gearing up a new social platform burst on the scene and it seemed like every thirteen year old was singing and dancing to their favorite viral videos in their bedrooms and backyards. In early 2020, hundreds of millions of teenagers spent hours upon hours glued to this social platform, threatening Instagram’s strong hold on the population as one of the most used social platforms. So much so, that what seems to be a response to Tik Tok’s popularity, Instagram rolled out its new feature – the Reel. A video based method of sharing content on Instagram. Traditionally, the static photo and carousel was Instagram’s most popular features.
Now, two years later Tik Tok has proven it is here to stay! This begs the question, is Tik Tok still a platform used by singing and dancing teens or can businesses across AMerica (and in particular, law firms) leverage the popularity of Tik Tok to market their services and ultimately close clients? You’ll be surprised to learn that Tik Tok is becoming a great tool used by business to market their products and services. Posting content on Tik Tok that provides value to your ideal client (and doing so on a consistent basis) can generate leads through:
- Link in bio where you can link a landing page that sends your followers into your sales funnel,
- Include a call to action (CTA) that encourages your followers to subscribe to your newsletter which builds your email list, and
- Tik Tok ads.
You don’t have to sing or dance to effectively market your legal practice on Tik Tok. If you’re a lawyer looking to generate more organic leads and ultimately sign more clients, then set your sights on Tik Tok because it is the next frontier for promoting your products and services. More importantly, since the platform is still fairly new you’ve got a environment where mostly all users are on an even playing field, unlike Instagram and Facebook. As an early adopter of Tik Tok you can easily build a strong following of your ideal clients whom you can nurture with value-added content, and ultimately sign.
